ARE YOUR CANDLES SAFE?

At Moon and Candle Metaphysical Shop®, we look extensively into keeping our candles clean and safe. Our candles not only go into your home, but they go into our homes as well. This make it personal, and so we want to ensure that our candles are created with ingredients that are up to the highest safety standards. This is why we only use CandleScience CLEAN SCENTS™. 

Many candles are often created using waxes and oils that contain harmful chemicals, that can harm not only you and your family, but your furry, feathery and scaly companions as well. For many years the hazards in candle ingredients have been hidden from the public subjecting many households to serious heath risks. Today, fortunately many companies do disclose every ingredient found within their products, but it is up to us to do our due diligence and gain the knowledge of what is hazardous and what is safe.  MACMS only uses 100% natural soy wax, with no chemicals or additives blended into it. Many soy waxes come in blends, which means the chemical of paraffin has been blended into the wax. When paraffin burns, it releases dangerous chemicals deeming it an unsafe product to us! We guarantee there is no paraffin in our wax or any other toxic additives. We also only use oils from manufacturing companies that provide us with their Safety Data Sheet (SDS), which will disclose any unacceptable toxins the oil was manufactured with. 

There are 5 main hazard groups that are harmful and unsafe and could be in your candle. These are the toxicities that we stay away from when purchasing our ingredients, so you won't find these in our candles!
